2nd July 2012 Company,
New residential developer London Square has been named Newcomer of the Year at the Norwood Property Awards 2012, held at the 13th annual Norwood Property Lunch at the Lancaster London Hotel last Friday 22 June 2012.
Norwood is a leading UK charity, strongly supported by the property industry, which offers life-long care to thousands of people with learning disabilities, and children and families in need. It has over 1,200 staff and 800 dedicated volunteers. Property Week is the media partner for the fundraising awards and lunch – which are sponsored by Derwent London, Earlcrown, Savills and Amlin.
This is London Square’s second Newcomer of the Year award this year, following the company’s success at the prestigious RESI awards 2012 in May.
Adam Lawrence, chief executive of London Square, said: “Being recognised as Newcomer of the Year at the Norwood Property Awards is a real achievement and it’s fantastic to be involved in an event which raises money for such a worthwhile cause. In just two years the hardworking team at London Square has built a business from scratch and we now have nine sites in prime areas including Wimbledon Village, Shoreditch, Fulham and Putney.”
Since its launch just two years ago in June 2010, London Square has secured a very significant £360 million development pipeline across London – with a plan to deliver over 600 new homes annually within the next five years.
